SUMMER CHECK LIST - Are you ready?

Summer is almost here, time for all the weekend warriors to top off their two-strokes, over spool their senators with 60lb braid, and stockpile enough beer for a Bowl game between West Virginia and Alabama. These spot stealing tee-toppers will be flying in and out of the inlets dodging PWC's, refugees, and kayakers and with what? Good overall boating instincts? A safety reminder from the outdoor writer in the local newspaper? Hell no, these salty summer captains learned water safety the old fashioned way, by watching offshore racing and watching Jim Rockford behind the wheel of his Camaro. Have fun out there be safe, but most of all remember that in the ocean we taste just like mullet.
